It’s a brand new year. You may be considering making a change and potentially putting your property on the market. You’re property may already be on the market but you’re looking to spruce things up to generate more interest. Here are 8 things you can do to help your property sell this year:
Declutter
The New Year is a good time for spring-cleaning. Take the opportunity and Marie Kondo your property, getting rid of or storing any items that are cluttering your home. It’s a fine balance when selling your house between having a blank canvas and having the right amount of personality for your property to stand out.

Fix Any Minor Damp
This is the perfect time two patch up any damp patches in your property as these can be red flags to viewing customers.
Lighting
We have mentioned before how when we view a property we love all the lights to be on when we arrive with the client. Go round your house and make sure you can’t improve the lighting in any of the rooms. This could be a simple as buying slightly more powerful bulbs or adding a lamp here and there.
Neutralize
A neutral colour palette when it comes to your home décor can not only make a property appear larger but help a potential buyer envision adding their personal stamp to a home. If you are thinking of add a fresh coat of paint or making some small renovations, bear this in mind.
Outdoor Space
When you are purchasing a property in Inland Malaga, it’s not just about the property, it’s about the lifestyle that property can give you. Make the most of your outdoor spaces and sell that lifestyle. If you have a pool, make sure it’s clean and inviting. You could add some cushions to a seating area or spruce up a terrace with some potted plants.

Smells
Filling your house with warming or fresh subtle fragrances can make a property instantly welcoming. Make sure your property is being properly ventilated and banish any pet odours that may be lingering.
Change With The Seasons
Think how the ambience of your home fits in with the current season. For example, if it’s winter light the wood burning stove and make sure the viewing clients can see how cosy your home can be. If it’s summer, put out a bowl of lemons or some iced water. If it’s spring, a vase of fresh flowers from your garden on the coffee table is a lovely touch.
