Sundays in Inland Malaga are a time for rest and relaxation. The closing of shops and supermarkets automatically creates a slower pace. So, the question beckons, what is<\/em> there to do on a Sunday in Inland Malaga? We have a few ideas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Countryside Walks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are so many routes in the countryside to explore. One of our favourite things to do is to park up the car and walk to a village, have breakfast and then walk back. Head up to Yunquera and explore one of the many walking routes or you could even tackle La Concha mountain and bathe in the incredible views of the Costa del Sol coastline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Museums<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are so many great museums in Malaga city and on Sunday they are practically all free of charge. This includes the Picasso Museum, the Carmen Thyssen Museum, the Pomidou centre and the Automobile and Fashion Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Chorro<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The famous Caminito del Rey is open to visit on Sundays. Find out all about it here<\/a>. Booking in advance is recommended and at 10\u20ac per person, this is such a great and affordable trip out. Tip: pack a picnic and enjoy it by the lake after finishing the camino. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chiringuitos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If the weather is fit for it, a drive down to the coast followed by a stroll along the front and lunch at a local chiringuito is the recipe for a perfect laid back Sunday. For us, there is no better Sunday smell than sardines barbecuing on on the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This great historial site in Malaga is also free of charge on Sunday mornings. Have a wonder around the ruins and beautiful gardens and make your way up to the top for some amazing views of the coast line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Perfect Paella<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is the ultimate Sunday lunch in Malaga dish. Either spend a little time rustling up delicious stocks and make it at home or go out to your favourite venta or seaside restaurant and soak up the sunshine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
