Our 2017

2017 was a groundbreaking year for Grapevine Properties.

At the very start of the year we totally revamped our office. Walls were knocked down, tiles were laid and our little oasis in Guaro became a work space we could be proud to call our own.

We attended two property expositions in Belgium. In February Ben, Luis and I attended the Second Home exposition in Ghent. We spent three days talking passionately about our beautiful region, meeting new people and networking with like-minded companies  (and had the odd Belgium beer!). May and I proceeded to attend the Belgium edition of the same expo in October.

Our family has grown! May Brummelaar, Maggie Scoley and Marly Van den Reek joined us at various stages throughout 2017 and we are thrilled to have them on board. We also have a one-dog welcome wagon in the form of Nacho, our new office mascot!

We have never been afraid to try new things and 2017 was no different. Introducing drone photos and footage to our website and youtube channel has revolutionised the way our clients view properties online. Our youtube channel is thriving, creating not only real estate but lifestyle content all year round.

In April, we had our second annual Grapevine BBQ. Willy and Armando from Coín Gardens were working the grill, there was an excellent turnout and we even had a surprise visit from a local goat!

The Summer months were a busy time for us. We made the most of the beautiful weather to list and photograph more properties than ever before and packed our cars with plenty of water to keep both us and our clients hydrated.

Towards the end of year, we launched Grapevine Commercial, a brand new website and one stop shop for all commercial properties for sale in the area.

We are now looking forward to the challenges and rewards 2018 has in store for us.

It’s a brand new year and as usual we have bigs plans for it. Watch this space.
