Town Hall Information

Everyone moving to Spain will have to visit a Town Hall or "Ayuntamiento" at one time or another. Whether it's for changing your Nota Simple or filing for a Empadronamiento, visiting your local Town Hall is a great way to find a little more about your town and how it is run. Tips: 1. Town Halls only open on weekday mornings, usually from 9.00 - 14.00. 2. As a rule, Town Halls are unlikely to speak English. So if your Spanish isn't up to it yet, bring along a Spanish speaker to help out! (you can thank them with a café con leche and a tostada con tomate afterwards!) 3. Always bring some form of ID with you (passport, driving license, NIE... ). You'll need it for most processes. Inland Town Hall Contact Details: Alora
